Deleting Users

This topic describes the procedure to delete single and multiple users .

Before you begin this task: You must have the role of a systemAdmin to delete users.


Deleting a user will revoke the access rights for the user in an organization. You can delete single or multiple users as described below:

Go to CUSP > My Applications, click (User Manager) and select Users - Roles or Users - Tasks or Users - Teams view in the User Manager window.

  • To delete a single user, follow the below steps:
  1. In the Users pane, right-click a user you intend to delete and select Delete option. You are prompted with a confirmation message.
  2. Click Yes to proceed ahead or No to cancel the operation. The selected user is deleted.
  • To delete multiple users, follow the below steps:
  1. Select multiple users in the Users pane by holding down the CTRL key.
  2. Right-click and select Delete option. You are prompted with a confirmation message.
  3. Click Yes to proceed ahead or No to cancel the operation. Selected users are deleted.

    Note: To delete an OS user in Linux, type the <APACHE_INSTALL_DIR>/bin/htpasswd -D <CORDYS_INSTALL_DIR>/components/webgateway/Apache/htpasswd username command in the terminal.
